Hello Veterans Affairs PAs, 

Welcome to the Veterans Affairs PA Association (VAPAA)! If you are already a member, thank you! If you are not, please consider joining. It is only through the dedication of our members and volunteer board of directors that we can be successful and a continued voice for all PAs in the VA. 

It is an honor to be serving this organization as president for the next two years. I am personally dedicated to ensuring more communication and transparency with our members.

VAPAA is the ONLY constituent chapter of the American Academy of PAs solely dedicated to advancing the PA profession within the Dept. Of Veterans Affairs. As you know, we serve an incredible population - Veterans. And, in fact, many PAs working in the VA system are Veterans themselves. VA PAs demonstrate excellence in patient care by prioritizing patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

This is a very exciting time to be a VAPAA member! We have made great strides in the past few years legislatively and assure you that we will continue to do so. 

We have an upcoming CME conference, which will bring together VA PAs from all over the country to learn, collaborate and network. This will be an exciting opportunity. I hope to see you there!

VAPAA has several active committees including DEI, Advocacy, Social Media/Communications and the Conference Committee. A board member chairs each committee, and we HIGHLY recommend our members to join. If interested, please email us at: leadership@vapaa.org.
